The Marans chicken is a dual purpose French breed, originating near the port town of Marans, France, and known for its beautiful dark russet color eggs. The Wheaten variety is beautiful and we are happy to offer them this season.

We offer 3 options to purchase our beautiful birds: Hatching eggs in a 6 count, straight run day-old straight run, and fully feathered 4-8week old pullets/cockerels for those wanting slightly older birds or small breeder sets. We will begin fulfilling orders first come, first serve, in April 2025.

There is a 25% restocking fee for cancellations. Please make sure you understand our farm policies.
