The Marans chicken is a dual purpose French breed, originating near the port town of Marans, France, and known for its beautiful dark russet color eggs.

We offer 3 options to purchase our beautiful birds: Hatching eggs in a 6  count, straight run day-old straight run or females only, and fully feathered 4-8week old pullets/cockerels for those wanting slightly older birds or small breeder sets. We will begin fulfilling orders first come, first serve, in April 2024 if not sooner.

There is a 25% restocking fee for cancellations. Please make sure you understand our farm policies.

We are an NPIP farm free of Avian Influenza and Pullorum/Typhoid
